  • For your daily excursions, make sure to bring sunscreen, a cap/hat, bathing suit, long-sleeved shirts, camera and appropriate shoes for wet landing and hikes on lava terrain (sneakers or similar with thick soles).

  • The Galápagos Islands see great weather year-round so there is never a bad time to visit.

Friday: Arrival in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Visit to Cerro Colorado Tortoise Breeding Center.

After arriving at San Cristóbal Island, you will be transferred to Yacht La Pinta for cabin assignment, an introductory briefing and lunch. We will then land back at Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and drive to Cerro Colorado to visit the tortoise breeding center.

Saturday: Widlife spotting on San Cristóbal Island.

Today, we will land at the eastern tip of San Cristóbal Island. You will take a pleasant walk along the beach to spot two frigate species and a colony of sea lions. If conditions are favorable, there is a chance to swim from the beach and snorkel by an islet. Following lunch onboard, we will take you on a dinghy ride along the shore to Cerro Brujo’s white beach. This place is perfect for birdwatching and spotting Galápagos sea lions. There is also a chance to ride in our glass-bottom boat.

Sunday: Hike Punta Suárez. Spot wildlife on Gardner Bay.

This morning we are headed to Punta Suárez, on Española Island, for an exciting walk on lava/boulder terrain. Keep your eyes open for unique sea bird colonies, including the waved albatrosses (April – December), boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and the famous “blowhole”. We will be back onboard for lunch before we head to Gardner Bay for a short walk to observe the sea lions, mockingbirds, finches or enjoy the beach. You can also snorkel, kayak or ride our glass-bottom boat.
