Good to Know:

  • Quito is the highest official capital of the world. Within 24 hours of arrival, you might find yourself with shortness of breath, headaches or a loss of appetite due to the extreme change in altitude.
  • Coca leaf tea is another natural remedy that helps acclimatizing to Quito.

  • To minimize these effects of Quito’s high altitude, drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and caffeine, get plenty of sleep and plan for a relaxing first day.

  • The Galápagos Islands see great weather year-round so there is never a bad time to visit.

Day 1: Arrival to Quito.

Welcome to Ecuador! Upon arrival at the Quito airport, you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice. We offer several packages you can choose from depending on your preferences.

Day 2: Quito City Tour and Middle of the World.

Today, discover the culture of Quito and see the Middle of the World.

Day 3: Cotopaxi National Park

On Day 3, visit the Cotopaxi National Park, one of Ecuador’s largest protected areas.

Day 4: Napo Wildlife Center:

Travel to Coca on Day 4. Proceed to the Napo Ecological Center. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Amazon.

Day 5-6: Napo Wildlife Center

Spend Day 5 and Day 6 exploring the place. Observe tropical wildlife and see exotic species  of animals in the rainforest.

Day 7: Travel to Rincon de Puembo

On day 7, travel back to Quito and spend a relaxing afternoon in your hotel.

Day 8: Travel to Galapagos.

Today, you will fly to Galapagos and start exploring the islands. In Santa Cruz, there is plenty for you to explore including the island’s Twin Craters, Lava Tunnels and the Tortoise Reserve where you’ll be able to spot tortoises in the wild.

Enjoy the various city highlights of Santa Cruz like Lava Tunnels, Twin Craters, and Tortoise Breeding Center.

Day 9-10 Explore the Galapagos Islands.

For these two days, you’ll be taken on full-day excursions various Galapagos islands including North Seymour, Bartholomew, Plazas, Isabella, Santa Fe, and Floreana.  Go on sailing, hiking and snorkeling adventures to observe and photograph wildlife in their natural habitat, including iguanas, sea lions, snakes, marine turtles, stingrays and a variety of seabirds.

Day 11: Travel back to Balra Island.

It’s time to say goodbye! Today, we will transfer you from Santa Cruz Island to Baltra Airport for your return flight home.
