Good to Know:

  • Our open safari truck has sun/rain roof and comfy bucket seats (unique in Pantanal).
  • We do not capture, handle, collar, or bait any Jaguars.

  • If you travel with us for three nights and four days from June to November, we guarantee to show you at least one jaguar.

  • If after four full days, you still have not seen a Jaguar, we offer you either a US$500 refund or a free stay of two nights and three days, to be redeemed within 24 months.

Day 1: Cuiabá-SouthWild Pantanal or similar

After arriving in Cuiabá airport, you will be taken to lunch at the Quintal Restaurant. The group will depart by 3pm at the latest to transfer to the SouthWild Pantanal lodge. On the way, you’ll be able to stop along the Transpantaneira, reaching the lodge by no later than 7pm for dinner.

NOTE: If flights are delayed, the group still leaves no later than 3 pm. Guests arriving later will have to pay for a separate, private transfer to catch up to the group.

Day 2: SouthWild Pantanal – SouthWild Jaguar Flotel

Today, expect an early departure from your lodge in the open Safari Truck to Porto Jofre. Stops along Transpantaneira will be timed so you reach Porto Jofre by 10am to take a maneuverable search boat upstream into heart of the Jaguar Zone to Jaguar Flotel.

Days 3-5: SouthWild Jaguar Flotel

Your next three days will be spent on the unique SouthWild Jaguar Flotel. You will go on daily 8-hour boat outings to search for and observe Jaguars and Giant Otters on some or all of the following rivers: Três Irmãos, Cuiabá and Piquirí. Overnight at the SWJF.

Day 6: SouthWild Jaguar Flotel-SouthWild Pantanal or similar

Today, you’ll have an early breakfast and check out of SouthWild Jaguar Flotel before heading out for a brief morning boat search. You will then be land transferred back to SouthWild Pantanal in an open Safari Truck. Overnight SouthWild Pantanal or similar.

Day 7: Transfer from Pantanal to Cuiabá.

This morning, you will be transferred to Cuiabá airport for your return flight.
