  • Buenos Aires is perfect for shopping, but don’t surprised if you find some shop doors locked (this is a common anti-theft practice). Simply ring the doorbell and you’ll be buzzed in.
  • The best time to explore Patagonia is the southern summer (October to April). 

Day 1: Arrive in Buenos Aires

Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your apartment in Buenos Aires. The city offers a variety of activities to enjoy during your first day. We recommend treating yourself to a succulent “Parrillas” or BBQ, a real staple of Argentinean culture.

Day 2: Buenos Aires City tour.

There are a variety of city tour options to choose from. We highly recommend our Bike Tours and Photo Tours to provide you with unique encounters and an authentic experience. Many of the tours will visit the city’s iconic highlights such as Retiro, Palermo, 9th of July Avenue (the Colon Opera House and the Obelisk), Downtown (the Congress, the Mayo Square, Mayo Avenue, Government House), Puerto Madero and San Telmo with stops in Recoleta (Cemetery and Francia Square) and La Boca (Caminito).

Day 3: Day at leisure. Evening Tango show and Dinner

Take time to explore the city at your own pace. Ask your travel consultant for suggestions of places to visit and optional tours. Buenos Aires is a great city for shopping.

In the evening, get ready for the best tango show in Buenos Aires put on by We Are Tango. With only 20 seats available, everyone gets a front row seat to experience Argentinean culture. Dinner is included.

Day 4: Fly from Buenos Aires to Calafate

Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to fly to Calafate. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel where you can spend your evening at leisure.

Day 5: Trek Perito Moreno Glacier.

Get ready for the cold today! In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel to head to Baja de las Sombras, a small bay from where you will board a boat to cross Brazo Rico Lake. The 30 minute boat ride will take you closer to Perito Moreno Glacier, where your trek will start. The one and a half hour trek will end with a special toast with glacier ice. Afterwards, you’ll be guided to Magellan Forest where you will reach our afternoon shelter to have lunch.

Day 6: Leisure day in Calafate.

Explore Calafate at your own pace today. You may also choose to take an optional tour to Estancia Cristina or Upsala Onelli Glaciers.

Day 7: Fly from Calafate to Bariloche

Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to fly to Bariloche. In Bariloche you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, where you can spend your evening at leisure.

Day 8: Hiking in Bariloche (Circuito Chico and Campanario Hill).

This morning you will start your half-day Circuito Chico tour. This adventure will give you a wonderful glimpse into the region’s serene beauty. We will drive along forests, lakes and mountains around Bariloche. Your tour will start from Bariloche, heading southeast on Ezequiel Bustillo Avenue along the Nahuel Huapi Lake. Along the way, we will pass through Playa Bonita, Trebol Lagoon, St. Peter’s Peninsula, Llao Llao Peninsula, Victoria Island and more. At the end, we will reach Campanario Hill, where you can take a chair lift to get an incredible view of the surrounding region.

Day 9: Shared tour of Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest

This morning you will be transferred to Puerto Pañuelo, where you will board a catamaran to sail across the Nahuel Huapi Lake. After a 30-minute sail, we will reach Anchorena Port on Victoria Island. Here you will have the option to stroll along several trails visiting different areas with native and exotic trees.

Onboard again, the ship sails northwest towards Quetrihué port where you will visit Los Arrayanes National Park.  Walking along a wooden path, you will be strolling along a protected haven filled with ancient 300-year-old trees.

Day 10: Fly from Bariloche to Iguazu

Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Iguazu. You will be met in Iguazu and transferred to your hotel.

Day 11: Iguazu Falls Tour (Argentinean side). Gran Adventura boat ride.

This morning you will be picked up from your hotel to start your full-day tour of Iguazu Falls. While touring the national park, you will visit several segments of the falls. Bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet and prepare yourself for a spectacular adventure. You will also take a boat ride under the falls to get a unique perspective of this natural world wonder!

Day 12: Fly from Iguazu to Buenos Aires.

Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Iguazu airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 13: Leisure day in Buenos Aires.

Today you will be at your own leisure to explore the wonders of the cosmopolitan Buenos Aires.

Day 14: Transfer to Buenos Aires

Today you be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to connect with your international flight home.
