Good to Know:

  • For your daily excursions, make sure to bring sunscreen, a cap/hat, bathing suit, long-sleeved shirts, snorkeling gear, camera and appropriate shoes for wet landing and hikes on lava terrain (sneakers or similar with thick soles).

  • Book your adventure between May and December to witness the waved albatross mating season on Española Island.

  • The Galápagos Islands see great weather year-round so there is never a bad time to visit.

Day 1: Fly to Galapagos. Start 4-day cruise on Coral luxury yacht.

This morning you will depart Quito or Guayaquil for your flight to Baltra. Upon arrival at the Galápagos airport you will be met and transferred to the docks to board your yacht. Today, you will be taken through the Itabaca canal, then cross to the Island of Santa Cruz and travel to Puerto Ayora. Here, you will visit Cerro Chato, observe the famous giant tortoises, and walk inside the dormant lava tubes of the island.

Day 2: Private excursion to Española Island.

Today, you will get off the yacht at Española Island to explore on foot. Learn about the lava terrain across the inactive lava fields and do some birdwatching. Española is home to various bird species including the Española mocking bird, nazca booby, blue-footed booby, tropicbirds and more. You will also be able to spot other wildlife including sea lions, marine iguanas, and lava lizards among many others.

Day 3: Private excursion to Floreana Island.

We will be landing in Floreana Island this morning for a hike from black mangrove beds to a large, brackish lagoon which holds one of the biggest flamingo populations in the Galapagos. On the island, you’ll also have one hour to observe fascinating wildlife including blue-footed bobbies, sea lions, marine iguanas and swallow-tailed gulls. Novice snorkelers can have some fun on the main beach with playful sea lions while those with more experience can go deep-water snorkeling with colorful fish, tame sharks and rays.

Day 4: Private excursion to North Seymour Island.

This morning, we’ll be stepping foot on North Seymour Island for a day filled with wildlife encounters before transferring you to Baltra airport. Spend some time observing swallow-tailed gulls, sea lions, blue-footed boobies and frigate birds. We will then disembark at the docks in Baltra for your airport transfer where you will catch your flight to Quito. In Quito you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
