Day 1: Bus from Salvador to Lençóis Chapada Diamantina

This morning you will be met at your hotel in Salvador and transferred to the bus station in order to travel to the town of Lençóis, a well-preserved colonial village that is the gateway to Chapada Diamantina. Upon arrival in Lençóis you will be met at the bus station and transferred to your hotel.

(The bus trip on Real Expresso bus will take approximately 6 hours. A flight option available – please inquire if interested.)

Day 2: Tour to Poço Azul and Poço Encantado

Today you will visit two of the most beautiful natural wonders of Chapada: Poço Azul and Poço Encantado. Unique underground caves with mesmerizing emerald and sapphire colored waters. Swimming is not allowed at Poço Encantado but in Poço Azul you will have the opportunity to dive in and explore the crystal clear waters, allowing you to see fantastic submerged cave features.

Day 3: Trek to Waterfalls: Serrano, Cachoeirinha, Primavera and Paraiso Falls

Today you hike and explore Chapada Diamantina and many of its amazing waterfalls. This is a half-day tour, leaving your afternoon free to spend at your leisure.  

Day 4: Caves, Lapa Doce, Pratinha and Gruta Azul

Today we will visit several special places, including Lapa Doce, Pratinha and Gruta Azul. You will see spectacular cave formations as well as crystal clear waters. The tour will come to a close at sunset on Pai Inacio Mountain, from where it is possible to have some of the most impressive views of the region with series of table-top mountains that are very typical of this region.

Day 5: Depart Chapada, bus to Salvador. Night in Salvador.

This afternoon you will be met at your hotel, transferred to the bus station and take a bus back to Salvador. Upon arrival you will be met in Salvador and taken to your hotel for the evening. Night in Salvador, Bahia.
